Becky Hinckley, Director of Ellington PSA.
Becky Hinckley, Director and Music Teacher at the Ellington Preschool of the Arts. She holds a degree in Music Education from Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford. While at Hartt, Becky studied with John Fierabend who is one of the foremost educators in Early Childhood Music Education. She also has had several classes in the use of the Musikgarten curriculum.
Mrs. Hinckley lives in Windsor Locks with her husband, Kevin and her cat, Summer. Becky and Kevin enjoy traveling to her parents’ home on the Cape, but her favorite vacations have been Hawaii, Las Vegas and Disney. In her spare time, she likes to read and knit.
“The family feel of the school is very special to me,” says Becky. ” It is so exciting to work with children. There is never a dull moment. I love seeing things for the first time through a child’s eyes.”
